Objectives of Speak Thai

Speak Thai Beginners course has been developed:

• To give the learner the essential vocabulary and grammar to communicate effectively in the most common situations they will encounter when meeting people from Thailand.

• To ensure correct pronunciation of words and speedy learning of the language through the unique ‘See, hear, speak’ system, the user friendly phonetic system, the colour coding of words and the clear tone marking of words.

• To reinforce learning through interactive audio flash card and word matching games.

• To explain relevant aspects of culture and language to provide greater insight into the people and country.

It aims to teach a thorough understanding of the Thai language that equips the learner with the key listening and conversational skills needed to communicate effectively in Thai.
